The Projection Of An Ad Through A Movie scene

After thorough consideration and as a new blogger experimenting on the self-publishing aspect of the internet i decided that i wanted my first post to be not a comment on an ad but a projection of something i saw and it could be an ad in it self or it had a real authentic feel of an ad. Specifically, this video is a cut from a subtle, heroic and romantic movie, with a fragile, disturbed, brilliant Edward Norton, called ‘Down in the valley’. I thought that it would be interesting to observe insightfully this scene and came to realize that with a little twist it would make a great post-levis ad-tale. And i was wandering why not put the power of the dramatization of this scene into ads. This feel that i’ m talking about is certainly empowered by the twirl the girl makes when she gets in the house. This very twist gives a sense of balletic shakespearean 19th century movement and it reminds me a lot of the new ad campaign for levis ‘dangerous liaison’ by Ringan Ledwidge and production company Rattling stick for BBH.

this is the ad from BBH
